Agreement

By using Vixar (the “Service”) — including VixarScribe and any future Vixar products — you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

These Terms are between you and Vixar (the “Company”), based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Your account

You need a Google account to sign in. You’re responsible for keeping that Google account secure. Activity that happens through your account is your responsibility — including any billing.

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to use the Service.

Acceptable use

You may use the Service for lawful meetings and audio you have the right to record. You agree not to:

• Record people without the consent required by your jurisdiction. You are responsible for obtaining consent. Vixar provides recording tools, not legal advice.
• Upload audio that infringes copyright, defames anyone, or is otherwise unlawful.
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or model weights from the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or repackage the Service without a written agreement with us.
• Use the Service to build a competing product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice.

Your content

You retain ownership of your audio, transcripts, and any text you create through the Service (“Your Content”).

You grant Vixar a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you — transcribe it, generate summaries, store and display it back to you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, to sell, or to share with third parties except as described in the Privacy Policy.

Plans, billing, refunds

The Service is offered in tiers: Free, Basic, Pro, Max. Quotas and prices are shown on the pricing page.

Paid plans are billed monthly through PayPal. By subscribing, you authorise PayPal to charge the agreed amount on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

You can cancel anytime from the billing screen. On cancel you immediately drop back to Free; we do not pro-rate refunds for the remaining portion of a billing period.

We may change plan pricing or quotas. Material changes will be announced with at least 14 days notice; you may cancel before the change takes effect.

Service availability

We make a reasonable effort to keep the Service available, but we don’t promise zero downtime. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

We don’t guarantee transcription accuracy. AI summaries are AI-generated and may contain errors; use your judgment before relying on them for important decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vixar and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity — arising from your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account anytime.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we’re required to by law, or if continuing your account would expose us to legal risk. We’ll usually give notice, but won’t where doing so would be impractical or unsafe.

On termination, we’ll delete your data according to our retention policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes not resolved through good-faith discussion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Riyadh.

If you’re a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants you mandatory local protections, those still apply.

Changes to these Terms

When we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top and notify active users via in-app message or email. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept them.
